Ladies and Gentlemen we're floating in space..
It is with enormous gratitude to that sweet mango wind of existence that this very sentence is being barfed. This is about the Truce of Twilight by one of my favorite Damon projects.
I CadDed and 3dPrinted a few small frames at the beginning of this project and I love them up around the house. So I dsLrEd it up and somehow found the lighthouse I thought I saw.
There's another I haven't finished but these two were supposed to be a robot's portrait. You're a detective, maybe human, and you enter an illustrious Robot's mansion, who could have unplugged him?
You pass the great hall of robot portraits, even a little USB with ears from way before the great Robot Wars (not the violent one, the one that was like a bake off). Way before. You see many photos... but this one.. this one stands out.
See, there are little beastie kodamas at the shoulder pushing the boundaries of wires and guts. What is it, to be? To feel. To believe or maybe lose faith. This is that agony at a PG level of suffering.
It may just be the truce of twilight.
THIS ONE IS THE NASCENT EDITION, MINT GREEN WITH BLACK, OR MINT GREEN, BLACK AND PINK BARS.
The Deets of it All
Every single one is made to order, but these are the first Batches I made. Like a script on spec for ya.
The overall dimensions are 21x24 inches, for the art print that is 11x14.
This frame can hold 6 prints and a THIN (2 mm) backing board pretty snug because behind the frame, are 12 "Twisties," though I should have called them Twisters. They hold the artwork evenly so there's no sagging or gaps in the corners.
It weighs about 4 lbs with all the artwork. It also has nail holes designed in the back, for a most secure hang.
BEWARE, BE AWARE and StArE
Note, the frame's corners are pointy, thus kinda SHARP because they're 100 percent flat, as in, the corners are NOT rounded. This frame may not have fragile glass or very heavy wood, like most frames, and it's extremely lightweight (4 lbsish) HOWEVER, due to it's pointy corners, it can absolutly hurt your foot you drop it from high up and it lands EXACTLY at a corner and you're not wearing shoes. Infinite variables aside, however small, it's important you know about this so I'm repeating it again.
Handle with care.
Trust me, the Frame will be just fine, and won't care about your poor toes, the Frame is pretty oblivious, but I, the maker DO care. For the love of god PLEASE be careful so it doesn't fall on you or your pet. It's not a knife, but regardless, must be handled with care just in case. Safety first.
To summize. It's very lightweight and strong, and with the nails included it should be fine, but use your wits, see if the nails are shakey (dry wall sucks) and be careful please.
The Hanging of it, Man
(photo coming soon)
Hanging Art is the worst, therefore Included is a hand cut (and silly painted, with frame edition certificate number) HANGING PAPER TEMPLATE that is about 97 percent scale of the frame. Basically to give you an idea of what a square will look like against the wall. It's not a perfect system but helps some.
The nail holes drawn on the paper are pre-nailed. So you just hang the paper up to where you want the Echo Frame on the wall, use the included nails, then hang it frame directly ON TOP. Since it's smaller, you won't see it, so don't need to store it anywhere else.
The Glitches of Love and Perfection Lost
This was made with intense tenderness of an attempted craft. As of August 2025, 29 months were put into every detail, and I hope you can see that love. BUT be warned there are "glitches" I just can't seem to solve without impractical time and resources, but it's also what Wabi-Sabi is all about and gives it it's freckles. All may have been made carefully with love, but no two are the same.
Consider checking this page for those Glitches
And if you are so kind as to decide this is for you, thank you for the opportunity to keep this art thing going a little longer. I swear to do my best to get better and hopefully do something special for you. But for fack's sakes please be careful not to drop it.
